A spirited yet luckless display saw our U14 kids lose out to a great Durlus Og side in the County semi final at the weekend.

Playing against a stiff breeze in the first half, the lads looked under severe pressure conceding a number of scores in the opening 10 minutes. Despite the start, our lads battled back and hit some excellent scores to leave a 4 point margin at the interval.

In the second half, the team played on the front foot penning back the Thurles team,  but a mixture of great goalkeeping, missed frees and the woodwork allied to some good Durlus Og play saw our youngsters come up short at the final whistle.
