The annual slogfest in the mud and rain of winter provides the backdrop for the start of the U21 Championship.

With our sister club, Commercials, flying high in the Munster club championship, opportunities to find time for games at this grade are tight resulting in two games being scheduled within six days.

Ultimately, despite the obvious issues with player welfare, it is a good problem to have and hopefully, both teams will be successful come the Christmas period.

The first game takes place in Dr. Morris Park Thurles on Tuesday 19th November at 7:30pm, where the lads take on Carrick Swan.

On Sunday 24ht November, a shorter trip to Ned Hall Park will present the team with a gamve v Moyle Rovers. This game has a midday throw-in.
