The twelfth and final day of Christmas, January 6th, is known in Ireland as Nollaig na mBan, Women’s Christmas or Little Christmas. It is held each year to celebrate women’s roles within the family and community.
We wish to thank all of the women and girls who help to make St. Mary’s club great. We are delighted that they show such enthusiastic involvement, and give great support with all of our club activities. Here are but a few examples:
Taking part in family events
Coaching and organising Summer and Easter camps
Being Committee Members and COVID officers
Fundraising for Dog Nights / Bag Pack etc…
Helping out on training and on match days
Support with players, teams, activities and events
Catering for events both big and small
…….....The list is endless!!
