Our Juvenile Coaching and Player Pathway Strategy is now live on our website here

This has been a significant undertaking by the club and it’s purpose is to bring strong structures to how we coach our children and how our children develop both in the skills of the game and in their personal development.

In the last ten years, our Juvenile club has gone from strength to strength due to the tremendous endeavors of all of our coaches at every level. However, with new players and coaches joining the club each year, it was decided to enact a more structured approach to our day to day coaching activities.

Under the leadership of Juvenile Chairman Shane O'Neill and Coaching Officer Donal Keane, a core group of mentors devised the attached programme during the long lockdown nights and have produced an extremely professional document incorporating the latest scientific based coaching methodologies.

Our current player and two time All-Ireland Senior hurling medalist Séamus Kennedy, gave his thoughts on the project and was extremely enthusiastic at the prospect of seeing the quality of players coming through the club strive for even greater heights than he has himself.
