2022 Club Membership Due Now
Membership for the coming year is now due and we encourage all members to renew as soon as possible. Membership is vital for the running of our club, paying for insurance, county board fees and equipment, and we thank you for your continued support of our club. We are encouraging members to pay online on a once off or monthly contribution via ClubZap, or you can also pay by cash/cheque directly to the Club.
Traditionally, players have also contributed €2 a week towards the Club Development Fund. This is a vital fund enabling us to plan and invest in the Club’s future but the days of collections in buckets as players enter the field are behind us. We’re moving to an online payment system this year and asking members to sign up via the ClubZap along with their membership fees.
The piggybanks will no longer be raided for the change of a Saturday morning! The charge reflects the €2 contribution per player over the period from March-October and marks a reduction for families with more than one participating child.
St. Mary’s is also very grateful to all those supporting our weekly Lotto as it is a hugely important in helping our fundraising efforts and sustaining the club, especially as Covid has impacted on our ability to hold fundraisers over the last two years. We are introducing a club lotto and membership deal for all renewing members who sign up online. All those who sign up before 1st March will also be entered into a draw for an All-Ireland Weekend Package. This includes a night in Dublin before the All-Ireland Hurling Final next year along with two match day tickets.
