The recent 2022 Munster Final Final (now U17) saw Tadhg Sheehan collect a sought after medal and join the list of various Mary's players to have tasted silverware with the County team.
A subsequent discussion amongst club members posed questions on how many intercounty medals were actually won by club members over the years.

Although both grades no longer exist at Intercounty level, the Junior and Intermediate Championships were held in high esteem in days past.
At Junior level, Fergus McGrath won a Munster medal in 1988 while affiliated to Faughs in Dublin. Earlier in 1972, Matt Ryan claimed Munster honours at Intermediate grade.
