After four years of commitment, honesty and effort, outgoing Chairman Ger Deely has stepped down from his position.

Ger has given tremendous service to the club firstly as an outstanding player and then onto committee level holding various positions and undertaking many tasks for the betterment of St.Marys.

When called upon to steer the club in 2019 Ger brought his army expertise and friendly nature to the table and ensured the club continued to thrive. Notable achievements under his tenure include the new field lighting system, the club lotto emerging and soon to be completed gym facility. Also navigated through was the small matter of the Covid pandemic.

In addition to Ger, secretary Kevin Ryan is also vacating his position. Kevin came on board as secretary in 2022 and brought considerable professionalism to the role and was the face of our live lotto broadcasts on Monday nights providing members with up to date information on club activities.

All in the club would like to place on record our thanks and appreciation for both gentlemen's efforts and look forward to many more years of friendship and camaraderie around the Sportsfield.
