Following the tragic passing of Dillion Quirke, one of Tipperary's brightest and upcoming prospects, the family and friends of Dillon have setup the Dillon Quirke Foundation.
The aim of the foundation is to raise awareness of SADS and save lives by screening every GAA player, bother male and female from the age of 12 upwards.
To help raise funds, there is a Long Puck competition being held throughout Tipperary with each clubs winner going forward to a final event being held in Clonoulty on Feb 11th.
Our club will host our version in the Sportsfield under lights on Friday 10th Feb at 7pm. All ages from U11 to adult are encouraged to come along and join in. The foundation have asked that entrants contribute €10 toward the foundation and help get the screening process into operation.
