Members of St Brigid's GAA Club in Dublin 15 , a group of 30 cyclists will participate in a charity cycle that will connect LauraLynn’s Children Hospice Dublin branch in Leopardstown to their new service in Mallow, Co. Cork.
This cycle will consist of a 250 km route which will be broken up into two legs, Dublin to Kilkenny and Kilkenny to Mallow.
Their event is taking place on Friday 11th August and will finish on Sunday 13th August. Their aim is to raise €40,000 and all monies fundraised will go directly to this very worthy charity.
In order to keep costs as low as possible, they are hoping that our Club House could help them out. They are looking to stop in Clonmel for approximately 30-40minutes on Saturday 12th August midday for a place we could take a break.
We are looking for all members to contribute in the form of sandwiches/snacks/bars/energy drinks or whatever is possible.?
If you’re willing to help out in any way that would be a huge benefit to all involved and we would greatly appreciate it.
This is a very worthy cause and we plan to welcome them and fuel them up for their next leg of the journey.
More to follow on details closer to the date.
