This morning we welcomed members of ST. BRIGID'S GAA CLUB as they embarked on a 250km 2 day charity cycle in aid of LauraLynn hospice.
“The Gift of Grace” fundraiser , where a number of their club members were cycling from Dublin to Cork in aid of the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice being organised by Amy and Gavin Kane, in memory of their daughter Grace.
As a club we were more than delighted to welcome them so they could refuel their bodies when they stopped off on their way to the final destination, Mallow.
As always, once the call went out to our members, you responded with generosity that can only be admired, a real feel of community spirit as you all made sandwiches and dropped in food supplies.
The response from the cyclists was overwhelming, they will certainly remember our hospitality for a long time.
Huge thanks to you all for contributing, sandwiches and bringing down food supplies.
Especial mention to Karen, Mary & Andy for your help today.
